Haste the Day is a Christian metalcore band on Solid State Records from Carmel, Indiana, formed in 2001. Their band is named after a lyric in the hymn "It Is Well With My Soul".
Vocalist Jimmy Ryan announced his departure from the band in late November of 2005. His last show was in the band's hometown of Indianapolis on December 30, 2005. The remaining members continued on for the European tour, accompanied by Stephen Keech of New Day Awakening. On February 23, 2006, Haste the Day stated in a press release that they had officially made Stephen Keech their new permanent singer.
A DVD of Jimmy Ryan's final concert with the band is scheduled to be released in Summer 2006.
Haste the Day is currently headlining (after 2 years) The Silver Bullet tour which consist of Scary Kids Scaring Kids, August Burns Red, Ligeia, and recently added to the tour, Destroy the Runner.
